We Don't Hire
"Trainers."
At Functional Fitness 360, we hire coaches who care about people, show up prepared, and take ownership of their role.
We work with adults 40+ who want structure, accountability, and long-term progress. Our clients aren't looking for random workouts or quick fixes. They want to move better, get stronger, build confidence, and stay consistent.
That means our coaches need to do more than run sessions.
Connect with people
Coach with intention
Follow a system
Care about the details
A Private Gym Built Around
Structured Coaching
Functional Fitness 360 is a private personal training gym built around structured coaching, individualized programming, and long-term results.
We coach in a semi-private setting, which means clients train alongside others while still receiving personal attention, coaching, and progression based on their needs.
We don't do random workouts.
We don't just "keep people moving."
We don't wing sessions.
We coach people through a clear system designed to help them move better, build strength, and create a sustainable fitness routine that fits their life.
You Can Teach Better Systems.
You Can't Teach Someone to Care.
Experience matters. Personality, coachability, and professionalism matter more.
Personable
Comfortable talking to people and building genuine connections on the floor.
Coachable
Open to feedback — and you actually use it to get better.
Professional
Reliable, on time, and ready before the session starts.
Detail-Oriented
You pay attention to what most people overlook on the training floor.
System-Driven
Willing to follow a structured approach — not make things up on the fly.
Growth-Minded
Interested in improving as a coach over time — not just showing up.

What This Role Actually Looks Like
You'll coach in a semi-private setting, not group classes. Every client follows a program — you're not making things up on the fly.
You're coaching movement, not just counting reps. You're building relationships, not just running sessions.
You bring energy, focus, and presence every hour you're on the floor.
The Standard
The standard is simple, but it matters:
Know your clients and greet them by name
Be ready before the session starts
Start and end on time
Pay attention to details most people overlook
Coach with energy and intention
Create an environment people enjoy coming back to
Every interaction adds up.
You'll Do Well Here If
You're naturally outgoing and comfortable talking to people
You take pride in doing things the right way
You're open to feedback and actually use it
You take ownership without being chased down
You want to improve as a coach
You like being part of a team
You Won't Last Here If
You prefer to do things your own way
You struggle to connect with people
You resist structure or feedback
You're just looking for an easy gym job
You want to clock in, run a generic workout, and leave
We operate as a team inside a system. That matters here.
